Brian is an expert in the data protection field. He currently works as a Solution Architect at Cyberhaven, specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Insider Risk Management. Brian has previously worked as a Consulting Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, where he focused on DLP and CASB, and as a Sales Engineer at Digital Guardian, a DLP software vendor. He also spent over six years as a Professional Service Engineer, Professional Service Director, and Principal Consultant at InteliSecure, a data protection consulting company. In addition, Brian created and manages DLPTest.com, a website for testing and evaluating DLP capabilities. DLPTest.com is utilized by thousands of vendors and security practitioners. Based on his vast experience as a practitioner and consultant, he is a speaker on data security; he has presented at numerous events and conferences, including ISSA, CSA, RMISC, and Hacker Halted.
