BSides Albuquerque is a non-profit organization created to facilitate information and cyber security learning and awareness through hosting an annual conference and occasionally holding low-cost training events for the local community.
Security conferences known as “BSides” are held in many major cities around the globe, but are organized, funded, and operated locally by enthusiastic volunteers interested in giving back to the community by providing a low-cost conference for the greater security community.
Our event is a source of education, communication, and collaboration. The technical and academic presentations at BSides Albuquerque are given in the spirit of peer review and for disseminating knowledge among all specialties. This allows the field of Information Security to grow and continue its pursuit of a world where privacy and security are attainable.
First ever BSides Security conference in New Mexico, United States. The idea behind the conference is to organize an Information Security gathering where professionals, experts, researchers, and InfoSec enthusiasts come together to discuss. It creates opportunities for individuals to present and participates in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and participant interactions. It is where conversations about the next-big-thing are happening.
